Q	What's the electric current?
A	220/240 volts, 50 cycles. A transformer may be required for American appliances. Outlets are three prong European style, adapters may be needed.

Q	Are irons available?
A	YES. please contact out front desk or housekeeping department as they will be happy to provide you with one.

Q	Is the departure tax included?
A	Departure tax is not included in our rates. Dominica's departure tax is US$ 21.00.

Q	What temperatures should I expect?
A	Come equipped for sun, and fun! The Caribbean is generally warm all year round. Daytime temperature on average is 82F (28C) and 72F (22C) on average at night.

Q	Is Internet access available?
A	YES. Wireless Access is available

Q	What is the check-in and check-out time?
A	Check-in time is at 3:00 pm and checkout is at 12:00 pm. Guests requiring late checkouts are asked to contact the Front Desk prior to the date in question.

Q	What types of credit card do we accept?
A	VISA, MasterCard, and American Express

Q	Are you located on a beach?
A	The hotel overlooks the ocean. The Rockaway beach is within walking distance.

Q	How far away is the hotel from the city (Roseau)?
A	We are 7 minutes from the center of Roseau.

Q	What are some of the attractions around the city?
A	Roseau is a quaint town featuring French colonial architecture. The Roman Catholic Cathedral is a favorite historical site; the Museum is 2 minutes walk from the Hotel, as are the Botanical Gardens. Morne Bruce is the site of several historical fort buildings and a large cross and cannon overlooking the city (great views of Roseau and the coastline). Trafalgar Falls is a nearby hiking/bathing attraction and some of the best diving and snorkeling sites are within 30 minutes by car.

Q	Do you have an airport shuttle service?
A	YES. We are happy to arrange airport transfers when requested.

Q	How much does a taxi cost from Melville Hall Airport to the Hotel?
A	US$20.00 per person one-way if sharing on a seater bus. Private Taxi costs US$60.00 one-way.

Q	Our cancellation policy
A	In order to avoid a two night cancellation penalty, notice of cancellation must be received 7 days prior to arrival. For guests departing prior to their departure date, we reserve the right to charge an early departure fee equal to one nights' accommodation. No Show – The hummingbirdinn reserves the right to charge a minimum of 1 night and a maximum of 3 nights depending on the length of stay. It is recommended that all guests purchase insurance to cover any change of travel plans or cancellations. Children Policy: Two children under 12 years stay for FREE on room only basis when sharing with an adult;
